Recently, amateurs, as well as breeders, have bred a lot of different types of budgerigars, which differ from each other not only in pattern, but also in the color saturation of the plumage and the shape of the pen.
Below we will consider the main colors budgies:
Blue (ordinary drawing). The color of the plumage is blue. The mask of the head is white, with black throat spots, two of them are covered with purple spots that look like a drop. Wavy pattern in black. Navy Steering Feathers colors.
Blue (opaline drawing). The color is the same as that of blue with an ordinary pattern, with the exception of the lemon-yellow head. The rods of the central steering feathers are blue. The edges of the feathers are blue.
Blue ( picture brown). The color of plumage in parrots of this row is blue. There are also purple and gray-blue mask on the head of white or yellow (yellow-faced parrots). In females, the throat spots are brown in color (in males – dark brown). The central tail feathers are usually brown with a blue tint.
Blue yellow-faced. There are two types: The first type of yellow-faced parrots has a yellow head and tail feathers colors. The second one has not only a face, but also plumage plots of yellow color throughout the entire body.
Blue mottled recessive. The plumage color includes all shades of blue. The mask on the head is white. The colors of the parrots should be clearly delineated.
Green (ordinary drawing). The color of the body is green. The mask on the head is bright yellow, with six throat spots of black color equidistant from each other. The extreme spots of the head are covered by purple spots that resemble a drop. On the head, neck, back and wings a wavy pattern. The tail feathers are dark blue (the parrots are dark green, much darker), the legs are gray-blue.
Green (opaline drawing). The mask on the head, throat spots are the same as those of green parrots with a normal pattern. On the wings depicted a dark pattern. The upper part of the head is yellow, on the back of the head and wings, except for the back, a wavy pattern is depicted. In the middle of the feathers is a light area. The tail feathers are dark blue.
Green recessive motley. The mask on the head is yellow. About six throat spots of silver or purple, similar to a drop. Green and yellow colors are located unevenly on the body. Yellow color is located in the upper part of the body, and green in the lower, Wavy pattern does not have, only dark spots on the Head, neck, upper back, wings. The male wax is pink, the legs are red-brown.

Lutino. Okra is yellow. The eyes, waxen and paws are the same as in a number of birds (Albine). Light and medium tail feathers.
Lacy white. The color of the plumage is white. The mask on the head is white. The throat spots are brown, of which the two extreme ones overlap with a purple or white spot that looks like a drop. Fly and tail feathers are white. The eyes are red. The male’s wax is pink or purple.
Lacy yellow. The color of the plumage is bright yellow. The mask on the head is yellow. The throat spots are brown, of which the two extreme ones overlap with a purple or white spot that looks like a drop. The wavy pattern is light brown in color on the head, back and wings. Fly and tail feathers are white. The eyes are red. The male’s wax is pink or purple.
